How Long should the Shower Last?

Baby showers have evolved from the traditional to the modern ones. For now, baby shower parties are more fun-filled. The enjoyment earned from these events is basically dependent on the plans drafted by the mom to be and the hostess as well. The guests, the food, the decorations, the venue, and the date and time for the baby shower are some of the major concerns that need to be pondered on. So, how long should the shower last?

Adults are more used to longer party durations so there is no problem with them. However, you can never exactly determine the length of time to be spent for the baby shower. Nor can you tell your guests to go home at once! So what needs to be done is to carefully think about the exact duration of the party. But before that, what time of the day would you like to hold the shower? Will it be in time for lunch, tea time, or dinner? Settle on this concern first. Now, when you rent a venue, there surely is a time limit. So this is going to guide you as to how long the shower should last. At any rate, some guests will come and go. There will be early leavers. And there will be those who can stay late. The normal baby shower party is from five to six hours.

To make the baby shower livelier than ever, it will be best to assign a host for the event. There can be games and prizes. Challenge the men and the women as they go against each other during the games. Some of the common games that will be fit for the baby shower include the guessing game, dirty diaper, going to market, and the likes. To add more excitement to the party, you can employ prizes to be given away to the winner. It will be happier if the competing teams will have a cheer of their own.

It's totally up to you as to how you would go about the sequence of the events. Whether or not you opt to have the eating portion first before the games and giving out of the presents will be generally your discretion. A baby shower planner will be best to hire in order for you to get enough rest and be able to have a great time. Surprisingly, most baby shower parties are thrown either by friends or family so you can be relieved of all the fuss.
